Inspired by the book Hotel Mariachi, radio producer Tamsin Hughes visited Mariachi Plaza in November 2015, where she lived for more than a week talking with mariachi musicians and others in this historic corner of Boyle Heights. Evangeline Ordaz-Molina, who was born just blocks from Mariachi Plaza and who wrote the Introduction to Hotel Mariachi, narrates this documentary, which will be broadcast to over fifty million listeners worldwide.
